Benefits of Yoga

Yoga benefits mind, body, and spirit in many ways.  The attached article from Timothy McCall, MD’s website Yoga As Medicine outlines 75 conditions that scientific studies have shown to be benefitted  by yoga practice. Take a look at the article and/or visit Dr. McCall’s website to understand the broad range of healing that can occur through simple yoga practice.

I invite you to drop-in to try one of my yoga classes at The Ommani Center for Integrative Medicine.  The beauty of yoga is that you feel the effects immediately in a calmer mind, more comfortable body, greater awareness of and connection with your spirit. These effects become even more pronounced with regular practice.

Classes meet on Tuesdays at 9 am and Wednesdays at 6 pm (no class November 23rd for Thanksgiving holiday). Cost is $13 to drop-in or choose to register by the calendar month and pay $11/class.
