Acupuncture

Aimee Brown’s scope of practice includes treatment of chronic pain such as back, neck, joint and sinus, as well as conditions such as chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia.  She has extensive experience working with people who have Bell’s Palsy, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, headache, depression, anxiety and stress.  Aimee enjoys working in the realm of women’s health and will frequently include dietary recommendations as part of her treatment plans.  Aimee also has experience in cupping, guasha (light scraping of the skin) and cosmetic acupuncture.

Aimee completed an internship at Guangzhou University in China in 2001 and received her Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in 2002.  She is licensed by the State of Wisconsin. Aimee is the founder of the Natural Health Center for Acupuncture and Wellness.

Traditional Chinese/Oriental Medicine (TCM) is a medical system that has been used in Asia for thousands of years.  Aspects of this medical system include:

  • Acupuncture
  • Diet Therapy (Nutrition)
  • Herb Therapy
  • Qi Gong
  • Tai Chi Tui Na
  • modalities such as cupping and guasha
